Abstract
The article examines the image of the Russian Federation in the political aspect on the base of national and foreign media and reveals aspects of information warfare from various points of view and approaches; analyzes the political image of the Russian Federation in foreign sources that influence the perception of the country in general. The authors investigate the fundamental signs and definitions that are involved in the analysis of conflicts of a political nature and carry out a comprehensive analysis of the image of the Russian Federation on the part of national and foreign media in the context of the information. The paper analyzes the fundamental concepts of the research and investigates the key conditions under which the formation of the image of the Russian Federation take place, namely in conditions of an information war. In the process of scientific research, the authors identify various approaches to understanding the content basis of information warfare.Keywords:media, information warfare, image, public opinion, positioning, influence, manipulationAuthor Biographies
