Abstract

In line with the revision of the dogma of western political science in the 1960s–1990s and the formation of modern political science, it is extremely important to analyze and give your own interpretation of the strategic topics that are basic and fundamental for foreign opponents. Such a strategic theme is the process of formation and development of civil society, its structuring and interaction with the state. In the article, the author gives his own interpretation of civil society, examines its structure (LOM, middle class, grassroots «zemstvo»), and also explores the controversial political relations in the triangle «leader–elite–people». As a result, he concludes that in addition to the two main types of civil society (based on permanent confrontation with the state – protest society, and the submissive one and merging with the state – subjective society), there is a third option – «insurance society», which, despite a rather critical attitude towards the state and authorities, nevertheless ensures their mistakes and mistakes and helps maintain the viability of the political regime. In Russia, this type of social consolidation took shape in 2022–2023 during the SMO. Various kinds of volunteers (humanitarian workers, military correspondents, sofa troops, activists, etc.) became its basis.
