Abstract

Based on sociological research and cognitive mapping of social media content, the article reveals the content of the patriotic attitudes of the Russian youth of the student age group. In general, pronounced patriotic sentiments are recorded among the Russian population due to the formed system of values. In comparison with older generations, less pronounced patriotic sentiments are observed among student youth. Under the conditions of international tension, Russian youth of student age turns out to be a «weak link» for the external influence of destructive information flows.
