Abstract

The article examines the experience of Russian youth organizations in involving supporters in active social activities. The focus is on aspects of the motivation of civic participation, recruitment to the association, interaction with government institutions and public organizations. The results of the study were obtained on the base of in-depth interviews with leaders and activists of public youth associations.
