Abstract

The article analyzes the content and directions of higher education reforms in China. The authors consider tasks, strategies of reforming higher education and present the key aspects of the content of national education reform programs. The article formulates the conclusion of the transition to innovative trajectories for the development of academic education in China, the development of university infrastructure, interaction with business in order to meet professional deficit both at the provincial level and in the national labor market. The authors present the results of international rankings, which secure the leading positions for higher educational institutions in China, fix the positive dynamics and trajectory of movement.
