In the article, the authors suggest that public interest in environmental issues depends mostly on how favorable or unfavorable the current environmental situation in the city is perceived. In this regard, the authors emphasize studying the attitude of Muscovites to the environmental situation, its change and development prospects. In order to form a more detailed presentation, the data were considered in dynamics. The article analyzes the results of surveys conducted in 2013, 2017 and 2022.
