The article deals with the formation of a digital worldview in modern society. The authors analyze digital situation in the world and in Russia paying attention to how the digital educational environment (DSE) affects the psychological state of young people, the formation of their value orientations and the possibility of self-realization. The article studies ontological and axiological aspects of the digital environment through the prism of theoretical and empirical methods of cognition, paying a particular attention to the search for new spiritual and moral guidelines in Russia. The authors suggest a sociological aspect of digital information and its influence on the processes of spiritual education of youth. The article in the process of studying the topic uses a praxeological approach to analyze pedagogical activity and comprehend the latter from the point of view of effectiveness of the formation of spirituality in a digital environment.Keywords:spiritual and moral guidelines; mental and spiritual components; axiological aspect of digital environment; praxeological approach; digitalization; scientific researchAuthor Biographies
