Abstract
The article analyzes the current trends that have manifested themselves throughout 2021 in the dynamics, geographical structure of foreign trade relations of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of the latest analytical materials of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), official data of customs statistics (FCS) of the Russian Federation, positive shifts for Russia's foreign trade activity have been outlined in the past year against the background of a protracted and uneven process of recovery of the world economy and leading national economies after the crisis of 2020. According to expert estimates, this slowdown is due to the further spread of a new viral infection. Under the influence of this and other factors, the real indicators of 2021, both in global economic dynamics and in international trade, may be lower than expected when summarizing the results. The author of the article presents the latest statistical materials, calculated data, introduced into the domestic scientific circulation for the first time. Keywords:international trade; foreign trade; commodity export/import; sanctions; trade conflicts; turbulence; Russian Federation (RF); European Union (EU); Germany; Netherlands; Italy; France; Spain; Czech Republic; Austria; Lithuania; APEC; United States (USA); China; CIS; Belarus; Kazakhstan; United Kingdom; Brazil; Iran; ArgentinaAuthor Biography
