Abstract
The article reflects the milestones of Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani’s development as a prominent and world-renowned Iranian politician and religious figure. The author shows his contacts and social connections with people who influenced him on his way to become one of the most important political leaders of modern Iran, as well as his personal involvement into the political history of Iran.
