Abstract
This article is a philosophical-political analysis of the process of state-confessional relations in Russia in the context of the historical formation and development, and in view of borrowing foreign models. The authors pay special attention to the problem of contradictions of the contemporary socio-political consciousness, of the value the crisis and the role of traditional religions in searching for ways of its solution.
