Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the culturological model of education. Components of culturological competence are selected; the culturological competence of the lecturer of the course «Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics» is examined. The author proposes the characterization of criteria, indicators and levels of development of the culturological competence of the lecturers of the course in the system of raising the level of their skill. The author defines the objectives of the development of culturological competence of the lecturer in the system of professional development, which are reflected in specific functions.
