Geopolitical Semantics of a Road

Abstract
The specificity of forming symbols of a road is shown in the article. These symbols had common geopolitical origins but were different in frequency of use and the semantic load depending on where the road ran, who was the primary user of the route and what authorities sought to demonstrate by introducing road signs.
