Abstract
The article is devoted to the figure of Sergiy Radonezhskiy, one of the most important holy in Russia. The author reveals its role in the domestic and foreign policy, its impact on the education of political elite and the citizens of Russia. He played a great role in creation of the Russian centralized state. The author claims the nowadays importance of the figure of Sergiy Radonezhskyi as the example of religious and political leader that can unify the state.
