Abstract

The author of the article bases on the idea that mass media is one of the most important tools of the governmental politics in the Transbaikal territory. The organization logic of the administration as well as of the government of the Transbaikal territory helps providing the state information policy in different aspects. The information policy in Transbaikal territory is constructed as a policy from above, and is oriented to realization of separation of powers; conversion of mass media into the «fourth power» and to the common liberal democratization of the regional politics.
