Abstract
The conditions of custom and tariff policy transformation at the end of 20 th – the beginning of 21st centuries are analyzed. The specific features of the tariff regulation system formation during the period of market relations maturing in the country; the directions of improvement and the modern priorities of the Russia’s participation in WTO are drafted.
