Abstract
Application of such a measure as detention of machines in situations of armed conflict is one of the least effective measures capable to lead to more serious consequences if used incorrect than continuing operation with faulty equipment. Military officials authorized to apply a preventive measure and identify the legitimate scope of this measure are determined. The author substantiates the necessity of improvement the Charter of Garrison and Patrol Services with a task to removing identified contradictions. Military equipment in armed conflict should be directed not to the assembly point of delayed cars, but to the nearest safe place, that is the car park of a division.
