Network Risks in the Global Society: Social and Philosophical Aspect

The risks that inevitably arise as a result of networking logic of the global information society are considered in the article from social and philosophical positions. The author shows that these risks have not only institutional and informational nature, but also communicative one; and that the discourse of information warfare should be supplemented by the discourse of communicative wars. The new world penetrated by networks is very fragile and full of risks. The article shows that this risk is a consequence of the new phase of revolted masses and their net nature. Loads of people (masses) are integrated into the network of mechanisms of the global manipulation and control. The network world isn't flat; it has structure and hierarchy, as all social reality does. The author in a number of situations shows that the tendency of network’s world restriction which is observed now is inconsistent: regulation of the power of networks gives us well-known chance on preservation of the national and civilization identity
