Ways of Overcoming the Crisis of the Russian Pension System

Effectiveness of the pension systems is the most complicated problem of the modern market economics. The main reason of the crisis is related to demographic changes in developed countries in recent years. Currently in Russia there is a crisis of the system of compulsory pension schemes. The article examines measures of state regulation aimed at overcoming the crisis. The main attention is paid to the analysis of long-term development strategy of the compulsory pension system in Russia till 2030 and to the new formula for pensions calculating. The article substantiates the necessity of development of voluntary pension insurance. Voluntary pension insurance can provide the sustainability of the pension system in the long-term perspective.
