Abstract
On the basis of the comparative historical method of genealogy the process of transformation of power is analyzed in the article. The necessity to find the base of the phenomenon of power for the formation of modern urban space communication is considered. The base of power is understood as a heterogeneous unity of nature and civilization. The transformation of power is revealed through the change of its meaning in different senses: symbolic, political, social, psychological. The discourse is not about return in past, but about revealing unused possibilities in organization the urban multicultural space. The article reveals the interaction of power with the modern chronotope of а city through understanding of such phenomena as architecture, speed, advertising, landscape, communication, affects, solidarity, civilization.
