Abstract

The paper raises the question of development of the political ideology of Russian innovative project which does not work nowadays and does not give the desired effect. Hence, the author examines various Western and Eastern innovative development scenarios, in particular, the ideological and philosophical base, which predetermined their specificity. Also the compatibility of foreign practices with reality and political culture of contemporary Russian society is studied in the article. The author comes to the conclusion that the incentives for the innovative development may differ significantly, both in terms of the way they are designed and the way they are implemented. In particular, the West increasingly bets on providing hedonistic inquiries of consumer society; while in the East the ideas of stability and competitiveness of states are prevailing. As for Russia, it chooses its own third way being a country of the Eurasian civilization type.
