Local Management and Regional Genesis of Culture: Problems of Research

This article represents the analysis of studies on the history of the development of cultural processes in specific territories and local governments' activity for their regulation. It highlights the problems in studying traditions of interaction between regional culturogenesis and local administration. Among them the author especially singles out the following ones: there are no complex works on the history of cultural development of the territory with interference of all cultural phenomena and processes throughout the time of its existence; influence of political and social factors on the success of local governments› activity in the sphere of cultural development of a subject of the state is insufficiently investigated. The author claims that the solution of the identified problems consists in studying the history of regional culture and its management within the culturogenesis theory
