Abstract
The author refers to the regulation of inter-ethnic relations through the media, considering informational policy of a state as one of the factors providing political stability and national security. In this regard, the regional dimension of the state information policy is studied on the example of the Republic of Tatarstan. Its legislative and practical aspects are analyzed, and problems and prospects of further using media tools in the inter-ethnic sphere are revealed.
