Abstract

Features of service and combat activity of the PCIA troops in the fight against nationalists on the territory of Baltic region are considered in the article. The author gives characteristics of nationalist organizations, operating in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Peculiarities of applying parts and units of the military forces in the struggle against banditry in the Baltic republics are shown. The article reveals the tactics of struggle against the nationalist forces and ways of official application of the PCIA troops. The author shows the system of management by bodies of troops and military units in the fight against nationalist formations on the territory of Baltic region. The article presents the specific data on the results of successful special operations of the PCIA troops.
