Abstract
The article is devoted to the legal status of some judicial institutions of the French Republic. The author touches upon the constitutional basis of the French judicial system, analyzes the key features of the system, considers legal status of judicial institutions with specialized competence (the Constitutional Council, the High Court of Justice, the Court of Justice of the Republic, the High Council of the Judiciary, the Conflict Tribunal).
