Abstract
The article presents an assessment of the privatization of state property in the post-Soviet Russia. The author analyzes the nature, methods and consequences of the Russian privatization. Experience with the privatization of state property in the post-Soviet Russia allows to conclude that neither complete, nor even a partial change of the form of ownership does not automatically mean an effective private property, because that positive charge of private property cannot be realized outside of competitive market, civil society and developed law state. Practice of privatization argues that the state is obliged to provide legal, institutional and other conditions to ensure protection of rights and interests of citizens, society and the state in a whole in the process of denationalization.
