Abstract
The article attempts to analyze some problems of the Caucasian diasporas in the Greater Middle East in the context of the relationship between two regions. Using a variety of very important criteria the author analyzes the geopolitical dimension of the North and South Caucasus as a single space where geopolitics is close to the ethnic policy. At the same time, its geopolitical boundaries extend to the south – to the Greater Middle East, which is close to it by a variety of systemic and structural characteristics. One of the factors that increase this connection was a resettlement of the Northern Caucasian diaspora to the territories of the former Ottoman Empire in the 19th century during and after the end of the Caucasian War.
