«Applauses from the center, left and right sides»: the universal values of the russian political forces at the beginning of the 20 th century

The author focuses on the new method of detection of the uniting values of Russian political parties at the beginning of the 20th century. The verbatim reports of Russian State Duma (1907–1914) were used as an appropriate source for solving the research goal. That reports includes vast amount of materials, which reflects different views of main political forces on different problems of Russian society. The analysis revealed that the list of universal values was small, but quite diverse. It was a common concern among the deputies about the military and foreign prestige of the country, including the success of the preparation for a possible European war. The next important point for all political forces was the question of economy of budgetary funds and of preventing corruption.
