Inclusion of Drug Users: the Experience of Russian Public Organizations

In the article the author considers the specifics of functioning of public organizations in Russia. The author analyzes the processes of social reintegration and social inclusion of socially excluded groups, such as drug users. Productive ways to help these deprived groups lay in the activity of non-profit organizations and in civil initiatives. The article is based on the survey and the author’s implemented method of the participant observation: the author opened a public organization, which purpose is to test methods of social inclusion of the deprived groups into society.
