Abstract
The article is based on the author's reflections about the new book, written by A.A. Pelipenko. This book is devoted to the analysis of the origins and specifics of the global crisis as well as to the analysis of the possible vector of development of the West. The author believes that the stages of this crisis and the role of the Western states deserve a serious attention. And it should be studied from the standpoint of objectivism without the ideological myths.
