Abstract

Objective of the study is: identification of the peculiarities of the representation of the context of the new territoriality of Russian society in the official media of the federal level. The methodological basis of the research has compiled a content analysis methodology involving working with the texts of media reports. The selection of messages was carried out selectively (only messages affecting the context of the new territoriality of Russia); the timing of the selection of messages; the matrix of message analysis, fixing the presence /absence in the texts of such aspects as the tone of the information occasion of the message, common values, goals, interests, appeal to historical memory. Research result. Firstly, it was revealed that the replication of the context of the new territoriality in messages goes through a typical development from an extraordinary event (peak messages) to the mundane (decrease in the number of messages); secondly, the declared (or read) common values in this context are those that characterize the relations of society and the state (patriotism, mutual responsibility of the state and the individual, citizenship); thirdly, as a common goal, the fulfillment of the Special military operation and the protection and liberation of Donbass appears; Fourthly, the dominant common interest in the messages is to ensure security; fifthly, there is practically no justification for the new territoriality through an appeal to historical memory. Prospects of the study. The results of the study can be useful in the study of the processes and phenomena in Russian society, which are associated with the formation and consolidation of its new territorial reality. The results can also be used when teaching courses "Sociology of Mass Media", "Sociology of Mass Communications" and others like that.
