Abstract
Objective of the study: to determine the algorithm of work on the dissertation for the applicant and, at the same time, to develop, in accordance with the qualification feature "the presence of internal unity", a formula for verifying its scientific viability.
The methodological basis of the research consisted of two theoretical approaches: the general scientific model of social research developed by A.V. Lubsky (the idea of a methodological construct and the division of scientific search into logically completed fragments) and P. Lazarsfeld's concept of typological operations.
Research results. A modular algorithmic approach has been developed, which includes five main modules and step-by-step algorithms of the applicant's scientific work, which can be used to achieve compliance of the dissertation text with the qualification attribute "the presence of internal unity". On the one hand, it is a methodological tool for the applicant, since it provides step-by-step instructions when working with the text of the dissertation. On the other hand, the use of a modular algorithmic approach will make it possible to develop an evaluation profile of the dissertation in order to reduce the element of subjectivity in the process of its examination by reviewers and opponents.
Prospects of the study. The analysis of the qualification attribute “the presence of internal unity” is the first step, followed by the study of three other formal indicators of the assessment of the viability of the thesis: the solution of a scientific problem, the presence of scientific novelty, the proposal of practical recommendations.
