Abstract

Objective of the study is to consider the formation of municipal service in modern Russia, to understand the problems and identify the prospects for its development. The methodological basis of the research was made up of scientific ideas in the works of domestic and foreign authors of the sociology of management. A variety of methodological approaches were used, as a dialectical method, which is universal. Research results. This article analyzes the main indicators that reduce the efficiency of the municipal service in Russia in modern realities. And the criteria necessary to improve the activities of municipal authorities have been established. Prospects of the study. In the socio-cultural environment, there are quite large prospects for development in the municipal service. Therefore, new far-reaching plans for the future and modernization of many links in the chain of innovations in this direction are opening up.
