Abstract
Objective of the study is: to analyze the sociological discourse that has developed around the problems of socially oriented management.
The methodological basis of the research was formed by the principles of discursive analysis, which made it possible to determine as a priority in the sociological study of socially oriented management the paradigm of socialization of managerial activity as an activity for managing activities in its human dimension.
Research results. The analysis of the discourse allowed us to deduce the integrative properties of socially oriented management. These include the following. It should be adequate to the modern social situation in all its contradictions. At the same time, it is the situational concreteness of the current state that determines the measure of orientation to the fact that it is not pragmatic profit-making goals that determine the effectiveness of management decisions made, but the social effect of reducing social tension and achieving sustainable development. All management decisions should be made from the position of social responsibility. It is social responsibility that is the key factor of this kind of management, optimizing the harmony of the economic and social components of the main activity of the organization.
Prospects of the study. In the future, we plan to apply the concept of “socially oriented managementˮ to the analysis of its features in the banking management system.
