Abstract
The purpose of this article is to review the concept of “perceptual stereotypesˮ in the framework of creating visual communication in space and formulate the main ways to create such communication. Perceptual stereotypes discussed from perspective of the necessary principles for creating correct visual communication using one of the important elements of such communication – visual image. The relevance of this work can be justified by the following factors: the importance of using perceptual stereotypes in creating correct visual communication, the translation of perceptual methods to the practical creation of visual images, the possibilities of productive impact on a more successful process of visual communication. The research methodology determined by the specifics of the problem, the purpose and objectives of the work. To study the topic of the work, an interdisciplinary approach is used, which involves considering the studied phenomena not only as principles of design, but also touches on the problems of perception psychology. The basis of this work will become a necessary basis for further research and design of visual communication in space, taking into account the methods of perception psychology as perceptual stereotypes.
