Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the place and role of regional technical universities in the development of socio-labor relations. The specifics of the interrelation of regional universities and regional labor markets is investigated; the results of monitoring the participation of technical universities in regional socio-economic development are analyzed; a technique for the possibility of including Russian universities in the regional development agenda is proposed. The article shows that in the framework of improving socio-labor relations through the scheme of updating the resource network of technical universities in regional development, it is technical universities that contain the possibilities for reproduction and growth of human capital (knowledge, skills, abilities), that creates opportunities for innovative development.
