Abstract

The article analyzes the sociological significance of family conflicts, defines this concept, and considers their specific features depending on how they are manifested at the group or institutional levels. In addition, the peculiarities of family conflicts are also studied in terms of which social actors that form the space of family communication participate in them. The author emphasizes that the growth of family conflicts at the present stage is mainly associated with the General systemic crisis of the Russian institution of family. This crisis leads to the destruction of the usual socio-cultural matrix that sets the standards of social interaction, which in turn leads to the destruction of stable and understandable conditions for social interaction. The result is an increasing threat to the stability of the Russian family.
