Abstract
Based on the materials of the XIX World Sociological Congress, the increasingly complex nature of power, violence, and justice is being analyzed. It is shown that, under the influence of pragmatic trends in the development of sciences and technologies, they become subject to metamorphosis, gaining a new quality. Specifically examined are the metamorphoses of social power into digital power, social violence in digital violence and culturally conditioned justice in digital injustice. As a result, the ongoing metamorphosis with the society, in their opinion a number of scientists, in particular, Canadian sociologists U.H. Vanderbourg and V. Moska, whose works were presented at the Forum, are so great that they imply the demand for the transition of all sciences, including sociology, to a new development trend, the essence of which is seen in the formation of transdisciplinary subject fields with a cultural core. It is noted that Russian sociologists have done a lot in recent years to revive the culturally conditioned disciplinary nature of scientific knowledge, and in the sociological science to implement a humanistic turn.
