Abstract
In the article on the materials of applied sociological research through the prism of the evaluation of ethnocultural traditions and civil universals as regulators of social behavior of existing subjects, the social practices of young people of the South of Russia are considered. The assessments of the value and normative patterns of modern Russian society by young people are studied, a comparative analysis of the positions of different age groups of the population of the South of Russia in relation to the use of traditional and personality-electoral patterns of social behavior in the sphere of legal, family-marriage, intergenerational interaction is carried out.
