Abstract

The analysis of leadership images as constructs that determine the perception and evaluation of youth leadership, its mobilizing impact on the willingness of young people to develop common goals and interests in the context of vertical social mobility is relevant for the understanding of leadership in the Russian youth circles. Generalizing the imagery of leadership in the Russian youth environment, it is concluded that the image of a civil leader is promising for expanding the opportunities of vertical social mobility.
