Abstract

The article is devoted to topical issues of defining the modern geopolitical identity of Russia and its role in preserving the economic sovereignty of the country. The importance of geopolitical aspects in ensuring the economic security of the state under conditions of ambiguous globalization processes, accompanied by stricter competition and growing economic expansion of developed countries towards developing countries, is substantiated. The key geopolitical imperatives of ensuring the economic security of modern Russia are indicated.
