Abstract
The article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Azov Historical, Archeological and Paleontological Reserve Museum. A reserve museum is described as a cultural and historical phenomenon. It is noted that in modern society the museum continues to carry out its mission, reproducing for centuries the accumulated cultural codes - the root system of the world order.
