Posthistorical Factor in the Failure of the Politic of Multiculturalism

Abstract
The paper analyzes the causes of failure of policy of multiculturalism in Europe. It is argued that a important, if not decisive, role was played by the cardinal change of world outlook, first of all, the affirmation in the social consciousness of the West of the ideas of the end of history and posthistory. It is emphasized that the most important characteristic of modernity is the imposition of these ideas on each other and their general influence on the social consciousness. It is noted that in the modern world there are two systems of thinking that have developed, respectively, in societies where history has "ended" and formed posthistorical thinking, and in societies in which historical and, in part, pre-historical thinking continues to dominate. In this regard, the way out is seen in overcoming erroneous worldviews about the end of history and the problematic historical development. A factor that unites different cultures (peoples) can only be ideology, in which humanistic ideals are brought to the fore.
