Abstract
The aim of the article is determined by the relevance of the question about personal identification in modern society. Personal identification is analyzed in connection with modern social features of human adaptation. The author considers this issue is not only as a problem of the physical and the mental adaptation, but as an idea of socio-cultural formation. The researcher differentiates between the processes of social adaptation and personal occurrence in culture. Special attention is paid to the philosophical analysis of culture-congruent personal entering the society. The author's position lies in the understanding of culture as an ideal-creating sphere of human life (D. V. Pivovarov concept). The author understands the content of cultural formation of a person in the framework of I-mark, I-Symbol. The author shows the necessity of cultural self-identity of a person as the development of opportunities for expanding personal entity. The leading method of research is the analysis of philosophical, cultural, social-psychological, pedagogical approaches to the issue. Other methods: analysis, generalization, abstraction, logical thought. The importance of the work lies in the justification of the need of value formation of a person in modern culture. In the author's opinion, important role in this process pays the aim of leading social institutions of the society to the historic and cultural continuity of universal values. The general position disclosed in the work, serves to enhance the axiology in the philosophy of culture as the development of creative mission of a person in culture. The article presents the points of view of foreign and domestic philosophers, specialists in culture studies, – the classics and contemporaries (M. Buber, Yu. I. Deryabin, V.A. Deryabina, L. N. Kogan, N. N. Moiseev, A. B. Nevelev, D. V. Pivovarov, E. Fromm, F. Schleiermacher, M. N. Scherbinin, etc.).
