Personal archive of Ya.V.Chesnov: reconstruction of the scientist’s artistic legacy by means of system approach

This article is aimed to the development of the reconstruction project of personal archive, philosophical and scientific study legacy of a thinker and anthropologist Yan Veniaminovich Chesnov (1937-2014). The object of his research has always remained a complex reality of folk culture, its various sides, aspects, forms and practices. And all this was comprehended by the philosophical-anthropological approach. The aim of his research was to build a "Big anthropology" using knowledge from various subject areas. In fact, he worked in the field of transdisciplinary problematic and created his own thinking tools, methods and means for description of the brainwork of folk culture. Theoretical and methodological principles and means of Ya.V. Chesnov’s philosophical-anthropological approach to folk culture, the technique and ways of thinking of the anthropologist, the ways of his work are introduced for the first time in the scientific practice.
