Abstract

Objective of the study is to identify key trends in the transformation of corporate culture in the management of a modern organization. Methodological basis of the study includes classical developments of representatives of the human relations school (E. Mayo), ideas of organizational (corporate) humanism (D. McGregor). Corporate culture is considered from the point of the socio-cultural approach (P.A. Sorokin). The information and empirical base of the study is made up of the studies conducted by domestic and foreign research groups, such as: consulting company “get experts”, international company “PwC”, Center for social design "Platform", Russian Association of Public Relations (RAPR), Reputation Management System for Monitoring Media and Social Media (SCAN). Also information and analytical reports of the International Labor Organization and the National Council on Corporate Governance are used.   Results of the study. There are different approaches to interpret the concept “corporate culture”. It indicates the multicomponence and complexity of this concept. The consolidating approach to the interpretation of corporate culture is a system that assumes the orientation of all members of the organization to achieve their goals, adopt established norms and rules, and communicate comprehensively. The difference between corporate culture and corporate environment is substantiated. The stages of formation of the domestic corporate environment are presented. The key trends in the development of corporate culture are the following: focus on human-centricity, flexibility, adaptability, and request for work-life balance. There is a tendency to perceive the work process as an investment in one's own knowledge and development, associated with a low level of control, hierarchy and a high level of freedom and independence. Corporate culture is becoming a competitive advantage and a “soft power” in the struggle for personnel in the labor market. Prospects of the study are in the further empirical testing of the hypotheses put forward in the research, collecting empirical data on the specifics and features of the formation, development and transformation of corporate culture.
