Abstract
The article presents the results of the implementation of the next stage of exploratory research on the development of technology for the typological analysis of workers. Its aim is to reconstruct latent social types among them, interpretable as objects of functional management. In previous stages, it was first established that identification with an enterprise may be considered as a basis of typology. Secondly, a whole range of theoretical and methodological solutions was proposed in relation to: the establishment of base type-identifying characteristics for describing the nature of identification; the formation of indices for their measurement; the definition of managing factors in work; the identifying of typological syndromes. This article is an attempt to address two questions, relating to the reliability of measurements, which apply to the process of typological analysis. The first question is: How reliable is the three-part model of identification with an enterprise? The second question is: How reliable (conceptually) is the cluster structure of workers by base type-identifying characteristics? To answer these questions, a comparative analysis was conducted of the instrumentation and data from four studies conducted in industrial enterprises between 2003 and 2014. The results of this analysis allowed for a conclusion to be made on the reliability of factorial and cluster measurements used in procedures to reconstruct social types of workers as objects of functional management. From this, it can be concluded that the previously-adopted technology for performing typological analysis of workers can be recommended for sociological assistance in processes of making management decisions at industrial enterprises. Accordingly, problems arise in finding management factors, which are without question specific to each business.
